Our Story
Derek and Pat first met on a job site in 2013 and quickly developed a strong working relationship, often collaborating on projects. In 2021, they officially joined forces to create Reston Homes LLC. As design-build contractors, they work closely with their in-house architect and engineer to deliver exceptional results and ensure client satisfaction. They prioritize understanding each customer's vision and needs, dedicating time to discuss project details thoroughly.

Derek Weaver
Owner/Contractor
Derek has been in the commercial and residential construction business since 2002. He began his career building custom log homes across the U.S. In 2005, he became a licensed contractor and established his own company in Central Oregon. By 2007, he expanded his expertise to include all styles of construction, mastering various phases such as foundations, flat work, framing, siding, painting, roofing, and decks.
Patrick Wood
Owner/Contractor
Pat began his construction career at seventeen, working for a general contractor in Oregon City. By age 24, he became a general contractor himself, specializing in commercial projects such as building churches, before transitioning to custom residential builds and additions. His expertise includes framing, foundations, siding, and interior finish. Pat worked in both the Portland Metro area and Central Oregon for over a decade before making Central Oregon his permanent base in 2019.
